Nitrogen inflator GEA-5 TRUCK

Nitrogen inflator recommended for truck tyres; It requires only compressed air and it is provided standard with inflating gauge.

Filling the tyres with nitrogen:

• The tyre pressure, that determines the consumption of tread and fuel, has kept unchanged in time, compared to the compressed air, thanks to the lower sensitivity of the nitrogen to the variations in temperature. Therefore the tyre performance and its safety improve.

• The risk of rim oxidation and rust is highly reduced. This improves the condition of the tyre for its retreading.

• The risk of self ignition is greatly reduced. This phenomenon comes from a chemical reaction inside a tyre caused by the application of a high level of external heat. Self ignition is the main cause for tyre blow out.
